JC Hobby started in 2021 as a simple idea—streaming video games to connect with others and earn money along the way. Through streaming and traveling to conventions, we realized how important it is to bring like-minded people together. My community quickly grew to over 5,000 followers on Facebook, and even caught the attention of News Channel Nebraska.

 

By mid-2023, my husband and I felt it was time to open a one-of-a-kind brick-and-mortar store right here in our little Nebraska town. Life, however, had other plans. After welcoming our son in 2023, I faced a major health challenge that required surgery and a long road to recovery. But we didn’t give up on our dream.

Fast forward to today—September 2024—and we're thrilled to say that JC Hobby is now open and thriving! Our mission has always been about more than just gaming—it's about bringing people together. At JC Hobby, we offer something for everyone—whether it’s kids’ events, board games, social nights, or the thriving trading card community. Our goal is to provide a space where people of all ages can connect, play, and enjoy year-round entertainment. It’s a space where community, fun, and passion come together.
